Born May 19, 1965 in Russe, Bulgaria, he graduated from The National Theater Academy in 1989 in Sofia. In 1994 he was awarded the ‘’best newcomer’’ in Bulgarian theater. Same year he moved to Paris and studied at The Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, the France's national drama academy. In 2001 he graduated Landscape architecture at NSP Versailles and established his own company for landscape architecture. In 2009 he came back to Bulgaria and resumed acting on stage, in television and film. In the last five years he has been one of the most sought-after Bulgarian actors.
