Henriette Heimgaertner

Since early 2020 Henriette Heimgaertner holds the Presidency of the Board of the International Step by Step Association (ISSA). She is the Co-founder & Managing Director of the Berlin Institute for Quality Development in the Early Years overseeing the quality development in approx. 2.700 early years centres in Berlin. A German native, she has more than 25 years of experience in developing sustainable early years programs in various European countries including Italy, Greece, France, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Henriette co-authored the state-approved mandatory early years programme for the city state of Berlin.
